@Malcolm, on this leg it's not going to be a matter of making a mistake or not, it's going to be who can avoid the most pot holes (dead zones) that wins. If you follow the weather along the line on Orthodromy there is a big dead zone right in the middle of it.

Hi Chris Nicholson,
Are you related to Emma Nicholson M.P. in England. You have the same eyes and nose as hers, and could pass off as a nephew or cousin.

You will win again.

Is it just me or does Camper look to be trimmed slightly bow heavy compared to the other boats? Looks to push a hell of a lot of water whereas the others have the bow knuckle just on or out of the water...

Not to be a smart ass but isn't it really the utilization of "simple machines" that makes sailing and sail boats possible at all? So the less sailors the more simple machines you need. Actually you know ETNZ could put together a really nice educational demo showing how you use simple machines to sail.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_machine

Oh and technology historian James Burke also did a really nice documentry on how simple machines effected sailing and change the world. (Sorry about the title, I didn't choose it.)
